Sign-Up and Contractor Registration Procedure

Make sure you bookmark or favorite this page

In the top right corner of the page select SIGNUP
-
Fill out the Register New User form. Once completed select “Register” at the bottom.

You will need to verify your email. The email will come from noreply@schniedergis.com

You can then Login if you’re not already
-
It will take you to this page where you can select the Jurisdiction.

Under “State” you can click on “All” and it will show a drop down where you can select “Nebraska”

Under “Jurisdiction” you can click in the blank space below and it will show a drop down where you can select “Washington County, Nebraska”

First, you will need to scroll down under “Contractor Applications” this is where you will register as a contractor. Find your contractor type and select “Start Application”

You will need to fill out all the information in the Registration form.

YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CONTINUE IF YOU DO NOT FILL OUT ALL ITEMS WITH A RED ASTRIK

After submitting your contractor registration, the office will need to go in and approve it. An email will be sent out once it has been approved.

After registration has been completed you can login and start your permit application.
HELPFUL HINTS
-
ROOFING, PLUMBING AND MECHANICAL APPLICATIONS WILL BE UNDER THE “TRADES PERMIT”.

YOU MUST FILL OUT EVEYTHING WITH AN ASTRIK IN ORDER TO CONTINUE AND SELECT “NEXT”.

IF YOU ARE APPLYING FOR A BUILDING PERMIT THAT IS FOR AN ACCESSORY BUILDING THAT WILL HAVE INTERIOR WALLS, YOU WILL NEED TO SUBMIT TWO 24” x 36” PLANS FOR THE SHELL AND INTERIOR.

PERMITS FOR NEW HOMES WILL REQUIRE YOU TO BRING IN 2 HARD COPY PLANS BEFORE YOUR APPLICATION CAN PROCEED.
